Hong Kong for 3 days

My trip to Hong Kong was short but packed and fun. We arrived to Hong Kong by train, and it was late afternoon. I still remembered how amazed I was by their tall buildings. The weather was quite nice in late october, still kinda hot but breezy.
We walked from the train station to Jordan South where was located our hotel. Funny thing is our hotel was founded by a scout guy so there is a whole floor dedicated to scout stuff. A few times I saw some little scouts in the building and it’s the cutest thing I’ve seen.
The room was small but neat and clean. I also had a great view over the city. We chose this one because the price was reasonable for the location, it was practical to walk around and visit stuff. Right next to us is a street food market. And for 7 minute walk, we could go to the Jade market.
First thing we did was going to the harbor and enjoyed the view. Then we walked along the busy street with big brands stores and duty free pharmacies, of course i bought some stuff here and there as I’m a fan of Japanese goods and there were lots of Japanese beauty products. We walked home and bought a bottle of delicious herbal tea each.

Next day, we went to visit some temples: Tin Hau of Causeway Bay and Chi Lin Nunnery. I love how modern and traditional architecture blend in HK infrastructures. Old temples are surrounded by skyscrapers, no intention for harmonizing but that’s its charm. Afterwards, we went for lunch in restaurant that’s in Central part. The streets were crowded and busy but somehow everyone was in their own pace, and it felt good to see people dress freely in different styles and all were walking under the bright sky that were filled by clouds and skyscrapers.
Then we visited a supermarket, more sightseeing and more window shopping. I bought a milk tea perfume, my most precious souvenir from this trip. In the evening, we ate at a taiwanese restaurant. Then hopped on a bus to Peak Galleria, where the view was breathtaking.

Later, we went to Mong Kok to see the NEON SIGNS. I was so happy finally I could see it. Then we got to a small restaurant and ate some durian dessert. Got back to hotel at 2AM and slept like a baby.
The last day, we decided to go further south. But before that, we ate a whole course meal for breakfast in a local restaurant. We visted the blue house in Southorn and went to Stanley for the beach.
Even though I had only 3 days and 2 nights in Hong Kong but it was really fun. I have a crush on this city where every corner is worth discovering and revisiting.
Hope I can get back to this city soon!
